March Madness HQ
If you meet the Buddha in the lane, feed him the ball.– Phil Jackson
March Madness is around the corner which is how we say “It’s almost spring” in the land of the Big 10. Regardless of which team you support, it’s time to enjoy the last days of winter from the comfort of your home — watching a good game of college basketball.
OneClickDirect is your college basketball headquarters — from terrific machines that allow you to make ballpark delicious snacks like hot dogs, fresh old-fashioned popcorn, quesadillas and more, to team gear customized for your team — be sure to place your orders today so you are ready when game day arrives.
My alma mater, Illiniois, isn’t in the running this year but I can still cheer on the other Big 10 teams with my friends, cozy beneath a stylish Illinois throw from Pure Country weavers, made of 100% cotton.
Somebody can go get me a hot dog, fresh out of the retro roller or a bag of hot popcorn from this tabletop replica of a vintage popcorn cart .
Enjoy the games!

Light Up Your Life for Less
It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness –Eleanor Roosevelt
Best of all — use a flashlight. TerraLux LED flashlights are compact, efficient, and terrifically powerful. They light up the woods near my house with an unwavering beam and at the moment we are selling them for an unheard of price.
LED flashlights are a world away from their incandescent cousins. Not only do they have a longer and brighter beam, they light immediately, last much, much longer (because they are so much more energy-efficient) and they are a whole lot tougher to break.
We admit it. We bought too many. How is it possible to have too many LED flashlights? When it comes to these TerraLux LED devices, it might not be. Every room in your house, your car, your Mom’s car, your boat (if you are lucky enough to have one), your kid’s car (if you are unlucky enough to have a driving teen) …The list of places you need a reliable flashlight goes on and on.
The combo pack is a gift that shows you truly care — twice as many of this serious tool that brings the light. AA batteries included.

Energy-Efficient Sump Pumps at Last
Great floods have flown from simple sources –William Shakespeare
My basement flooded not long ago and so sump pumps have been on my mind. They are a necessity in many parts of the country, in certain types of homes, and yet the technology has progressed very slowly — up until now. Anyone who owns a home can attest to the fact that these small, but crucial, appliances can drive up your utility bill during the months that they must run all the time.
It is with great pleasure, therefore, that we announce our alliance with Eco-Flo Products Inc. Makers of a variety of energy-efficient and otherwise earth-friendly pumps for many applications (including residential, of course), this Ohio-based company is nothing short of a pioneer in the field. Not only have they engineered a more energy-efficient but still (and by some measurements MORE) powerful pump, they even offer a solar paneled pump.
They make a superior product that will save you money and energy and they are committed to using recycled products wherever possible in manufacturing. They also extend a lifetime recycling warranty to their customers. When you are done with their pumps, they will ensure that the product’s parts are recycled — at their cost.
One Click Direct is currently the only place you can buy an Eco-Flo pump on the Internet but we are helping them with all of their e-commerce so if you are a distributor and want to sell their products too, please contact us.
We believe that everyone is entitled to a dry, mold-free home and a reasonable electric bill. If we can be environmentally-sound at the same time, that’s just an added bonus.

30 Days of Deals by the People, for the People
The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.–Vince Lombardi
We would be nothing if it weren’t for you — the customers. This holiday season, as a special thank you to the people who keep the lights on, we asked our customers to tell us which items they wanted to see on sale. We then put that item on sale for one day only between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Anyone could enjoy a special price on that product that day, including, of course, the person who requested it.
We set up a special page on our website that people could use to request an item and as always, our Facebook page was another great way for fans to make their wishes known.
And what did you pick?
As always in a democratic society, the will of the people was varied and colorful. One huge fan favorite? The 8.5 Amp Electric Tiller/Cultivator by Earthwise, a clean, silent yet powerful tool for creating the garden of your dreams, received more than one request.
At the other end of the spectrum (at least from my perspective) was the Mini Chocolate Fondue Fountain from Nostalgia Electronics which went on sale on December 22nd and tied the Earthwise tiller for most one-day sales.
Other items we put on sale because you asked us to included the versatile Box in a Bed Hideaway Guest bed, which folds to 5 inches for storage yet provides a well-supported, comfortable sleeping experience. This is an amazing value year round, with a three piece sheet set included in the price.
The Reiker Ceiling fan in Swiss Gold, a combo pack of two LED flashlights, a convection breadmaker and the ever popular Deluxe Stealth Series infrared heater with fireplace front were some other winning choices that prove the old adage, “One man’s fondue maker is another man’s electric tiller.”
As always, we strive to make your home your castle — at the best price possible — and here’s to a New Year of deals by the people, for the people (you).

Organizing Solutions for Your Home
Good order is the foundation of all things.– Edmund Burke
One Click Direct prides itself on being a website that provides products that fill a particular niche in your life. JJ International organizers do just that.
JJ International makes some extraordinary solutions to the problems of storing unwieldy objects such as basketballs, golf clubs, gardening tools, and bicycles. JJ International storage systems happen to be on weekly special right now, but our prices on these nifty organizers are always exceptional.
JJ International products provide an elegant answer to the question of how to incorporate things such as garbage cans and pet supplies neatly into your home environment while still having maximum access to them.
The Golf Organizer provides enough room to store two golf bags, plus it provides a bench where you can sit to put on your shoes between them. The bench? Also provides storage.
I’m picking up this beauty — the Sports Organizer Bench.
It’s an easy-to-assemble, durable and neutral spot to keep all of your sports equipment or anything else you need tucked out of the way but still very handy. Plus, the padded bench is a great place to sit while you are pulling off muddy boots or if it lives in the garage, a perch for those cases of soda you got at the box store.
Because after all, what’s the point of being organized except to make more room in your home for the things that make your life enjoyable?

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Reorganize Your New Year
Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it is not all mixed up. — A. A. Milne
Here at One Click Direct we are naming January as “Organization” Month. What a great way to start off a new year. Get organized at long last and feel less guilty about the other resolutions that are tougher to accomplish in a single weekend.
Those reality shows about hoarding give me chills because we have all been guilty of lazily acquiring things we don’t need and piling them in a corner to deal with someday in the future.
Your someday is today! Ruthlessly make two piles of everything that has been building up. Those piles should be:
–Toss. Be honest with yourself that you’re never going to read those old magazines and newspapers from last year. DO recycle them, of course, if they are printed on matte paper, but don’t just shift the piles around your home. That old reading material catches dust and makes your home look tired. Other things that go in the toss pile include broken stuff that frankly can’t be fixed and expired food and drugs.
–Donate. Outdated electronics can do some good and they can’t be thrown in the garbage anyway because they typically contain hazardous waste. The Lions and Rotary Clubs, your local Y, animal shelter, or others, may be collecting old cell phones and so on to turn into cash. With so many people out of work, nice clothes that are in good condition are in high demand by organizations that help disadvantaged people spruce up for job interviews. Your Salvation Army or Goodwill pile should be divided into things that are suitable for office settings and things that are plain worn out.
In a perfect world, the things you keep in your home should always be functional, thrifty, and whenever possible, also aesthetically pleasing. We are here to help you outfit your home and life with items like that — and whenever possible also save you money, support local businesses, and protect the environment.
Lofty goals? Sure. What else is new?

G.J.
